Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Ixyle.ai, portal.ixyle.ai, or interview.ixyle.ai (together “the Platform”) you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.

2. Who can use Ixyle

  • You must be 16 or older. Minors aged 13–15 may use Ixyle only with verifiable parental consent.
  • You must provide accurate signup information.
  • One person, one account. Account-sharing is prohibited and grounds for suspension.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

3. The service

Ixyle is an AI-powered mock-interview platform. The interviewer is software (large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), not a human. Reports and feedback are generated by AI and may contain errors. Use Ixyle for practice, not as a substitute for professional career counselling, legal advice, or job placement.

Service availability is target 99.5%, not guaranteed. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. Unscheduled downtime due to provider outages (Anthropic, Azure, etc.) is outside our control.

4. Subscriptions + payments

  • Pricing is shown in INR (primary) or USD (diaspora). GST is applicable for Indian customers.
  • Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancel anytime in your account settings.
  • Semester / one-time packs are non-refundable past 7 days unless covered by our refund policy (see Refunds).
  • Payment is processed by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (international). Card / UPI / wallet details are handled by them, not us.
  • Failed payments → service paused after 3 retry attempts spanning 7 days, account then downgraded to Free tier.

5. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • Share your account or paid features with non-paying users.
  • Scrape, replay, or rebroadcast interview content.
  • Attempt to extract Ixyle's prompts, model weights, or proprietary scoring logic.
  • Use the Platform for unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit purposes.
  • Submit other people's resumes / personal data without their consent.
  • Run automated bots against any interview surface.

Violating these may result in immediate suspension without refund.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload (resume, voice, video, written input). By using Ixyle you grant us a limited, revocable licence to process your content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models without separate explicit consent (see Privacy §3).

7. Intellectual property

All Ixyle prompts, company profiles, scoring rubrics, AI persona designs, the Universal Interviewer architecture, the platform UI, and brand assets are © 2024–2026 Ixyle Technologies Private Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Disclaimers + limitation of liability

Ixyle is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that the AI's feedback is correct, that following our recommendations will get you hired, or that the Platform will be error-free.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Platform is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, not exceeding ₹50,000 (INR fifty thousand).

We are not liable for: indirect / consequential damages, lost opportunities (jobs you didn't get), reputational impact, or anything you reveal during a mock interview that becomes embarrassing later.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. You by deleting your account. Us by giving you 30 days' notice. For breaches of §5 (Acceptable Use), we may terminate immediately without notice.

10. Governing law + jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. For consumer-protection disputes covered by India's Consumer Protection Act 2019, the consumer's home jurisdiction also applies.

11. Changes

We'll email registered users 14 days before any material change. Minor clarifications may be made silently; the “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest version.
